The festive season is here and Blackhearts & Sparrows have launched their inaugural Summer Drinks Guide to help ensure your glass is always half full over this haloed time. The guide is a crash course in drinking like a pro, covering everything from hosting how-to’s, smashable gifts, and summer staples that punch above their price tag, to leaving a good thirst impression.
The guide curates some of the best drops this summer, whilst aiming to dispel the stubborn perception that there is a right way to drink. As drinking preferences and behaviours have evolved, especially in the last few years, the Summer Drinks Guide aims to help people drink confidently, drink with a sense of adventure and drink well this Summer – no matter their taste, knowledge or budget.
Paul Ghaie (co-founder, owner and The Blackheart) says, “We understand that many people feel the decision of what to gift or share to the table can be a loaded one. The guide curates some of our favourites, along with some simple advice on pleasing many palates.”
The crew at Blackhearts & Sparrows have been in the drinks game since 2006 and believe that drinking well is all more about discovery and curation rather than price point. Jessica Ghaie (co-founder, owner and The Sparrow) says, ‘When it comes to festive drinks, especially wines, there is so much focus on Christmas Day. Drinks have always been a means of connection and there are so many social occasions throughout the entire Summer. We wanted to equip drinkers with everything they need to celebrate and enjoy spontaneous catch-ups as much as the big ticket days.’
