Everything you need to see and do this Sunday!

It’s all systems go for our Truffle & Charcuterie Celebration with Friend & Burrell this Sunday, so to make it easier for you we’ve prepared a trusty guide showcasing exactly what’s on offer. Enjoy!

Hot food truffle and charcuterie dishes available throughout the Market
A Truffle & Charcuterie Celebration just wouldn’t be a celebration without the delicious food served up by our expert traders. This year the bar is set higher than ever with a mouth-watering selection of gourmet dishes highlighting only the very best of these two luxurious ingredients. Enjoy tasty truffled mac ‘n’ cheese from Maker & Monger; jamon croquetas from Cleo’s Deli; Baked Tasmanian scallop in a half shell with melted truffle butter from Prahran Seafoods and truffled popcorn chicken from Hagen’s Organics! 48h Pizzeria and Gnocchi Bar will also be on deck with their black truffle gnocchi as well as their Italian charcuterie with aged Parmesan cheese, and for those looking for something on the sweet side, Sweet Greek will tempt warm truffle-infused honey baklava. Sounds pretty good hey?

Wilson & Market marquee & bar
For those after a little tipple with their moreish truffle and charcuterie dishes, head on over to the Wilson & Market marquee where you’ll find a gourmet menu featuring spit-roasted porchetta rolls with truffle; warm poached eggs with Reggiano, truffle and soft polenta, and our most favourite dish of all: truffled chocolate waffle doughnuts! Do the grand and indulge in all three with a glass of Laurent Perrier Champagne for just $50. But, if Champagne isn’t your style, the Wilson & Market crew have enlisted craft beer favourite Stone & Wood. It’s win/win really.

Damian Pike Mushroom Specialist
On the hunt for this season’s black winter truffle? Damian Pike, our very own mushroom specialist, is the sole trader for fresh truffle at the Market this year and we can guarantee it won’t disappoint. If you’ve never bought truffle before, Damian is your go-to guy for everything from how to shave it, prepare it and cook with it. He can also provide some tips on how to infuse other ingredients with truffle too.
