Preparing lemongrass the easy way!

 

Preparing lemongrass for a curry or stir fry is easy! Using this method, you’ll end up with one malleable piece of lemongrass that can be put whole into your curry- for easy removal!

No more chewy pieces of lemongrass to sift through!

Method:

  1. Place your piece of lemongrass on a chopping block
  2. Using the handle of a big knife, ‘bash’ the stalk until it becomes soft and malleable- you should be able to smell the strong lemongrass scent
  3. Tie it into a loose not
  4. Put the whole piece into your pot and simmer away!
  5. Remove when done and serve your dish.
