This season, Damian Pike had some of the biggest strawberries in stock that he had ever seen – they literally were giant strawberries! So naturally, these formed a pivotal part of the November mystery box that we sent to Jo Feehan and also, for the first time, Lisa Holman of Lisa Eats World. Strawberries are in peak season right now so it’s definitely the best time to buy them (and you can check out Paul from Ripe the Organic Grocer’s take on this season’s strawberries, here)
When foraging around the Market, we also found some delicious fresh ricotta at Cleo’s Deli, and the most beautiful zucchini flowers at Reliable Fruit and Veg.
So we knew that the flavour combinations these two were going to come up, were going to be very very tasty indeed!
