This easy honey baked Christmas Ham will take the stress out of Christmas Lunch!

  • 1 small ham (approximately 800g)
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 handful of cloves
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup frozen cranberries
  • Rind and juice of 1 orange
  • 2 tablespoon of corn starch dissolved in ½ cup of water
  • ½ cup extra brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup cranberry sauce
  • ¼ cup of red wine
  1. Spike the ham with the cloves. Place ham in large roasting pan and pour pineapple juice, water, orange rind, cranberry sauce, red wine and honey over top. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Cover with tin foil and bake at 180 degrees for 40 minutes (depending on size).
  2. Remove the ham onto a warm plate to rest, cover with foil.
  3. Place the roasting pan over medium heat on stove top and bring the liquids to the boil. Stir corn-starch in a little water and add to the cooking liquid. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until sauce has thickened and become transparent.
  4. Place the honey baked ham onto a serving plate and pour the sauce over.
