The Best of Wicked Dessert

Get your dessert forks ready! The ultimate treat day is coming as our Wicked Dessert Festival takes place on Sunday, May 6. Featuring tastings, activations and demonstrations, there will be something for everyone.

We will be celebrating all things sweets with the Festival overflowing onto Elizabeth Street – creating a dessert lover’s dream with pop-up stalls by our own and guest traders. With so much deliciousness, we’re here to help with the best of this year’s Wicked Dessert Festival.  But don’t take our word for it, come along and find out your faves!

The Bearded Bakers

You won’t miss The Bearded Bakers in their re-purposed shipping container on Elizabeth Street. They will be entertaining the crowds with their family recipe for Knafeh. A traditional Middle Eastern dessert, The Bearded Bakers’ version is a lighter and creamier interpretation.

Wilson & Market

From Patron chocolate espresso martinis to ‘pimp your own’ chocolate pavlovas (complete with gold leaf), you’ll find something awe-inspiringly delicious at Wilson & Market.

Christy Tania, Glacé Frozen

Christy Tania and her crew will be serving up whimsical sweet offerings from their yellow submarine. Make sure you try the Dessert Board with nine different desserts.

Barossa Fine Foods

For something a little different, yet just as delicious, our very own Barossa Fine Foods will be creating chocolate coated bacon with cardamom and gold leaf!

Let’s Waffle’n’Shake

For indulgence on a stick, Waffle/n’Shake serve up Wafflepops – Belgian waffles served on a stick and covered in delicious toppings such as their chocolate party rainbow & salted caramel pops. And did we mention they also serve the best milkshakes?

Maker & Monger

Famous for their grilled cheese sandwiches and traditional Swiss cheese raclette, Maker & Monger is where to go if you always opt for cheese as your dessert. Anthony has created two unique cheese inspired desserts that you have to try including Tirimasu from his Nonna’s secret family recipe…

If you’re looking for something warm then head to Dip’d for their delicious mini doughnuts served hot with a range of gourmet homemade sauces and toppings!

Market Lane Cafe

In collaboration with Pidapipo, Market Lane coffee are offering the most delicious affogato complete with chocolate ice-cream and their very own rich, double shot espresso.  If you’re looking for a delicious ‘pep-me-up’ then this one’s for you.

Organic Apple Pie will be the order of the day at Paddlewheel. Using crisp apples from local farms the pies will be perfect to take home and enjoy with the family – if you can wait that long!
