Maple syrup fruit skewers

  • 3-4 cups worth of fruit cut into chunks. Think pears, peaches, pineapple, figs and bananas. The list is endless!
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder
  • ½ cup pure maple syrup
  1. Soak bamboo skewers in water (this prevents them from splitting).
  2. Cover your fruit with the maple mixture and sit in the fridge.
  3. When it’s almost time to cook, ensure your barbecue is heated so the coals are white.
  4. Arrange your fruit on the bamboo skewers as desired.
  5. Grill on medium to high heat until fruit is caramelised.  Serve your maple syrup fruit skewers warm. Enjoy!
