Carob powder

Recipe by Jo Feehan- Second Helping

Perfect for bliss balls.

  • Carob Pods
  1. Split carob pods lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  2. Break into small pieces and dry out in a very low oven or a dehydrator.
  3. I put them on a tray in the oven at its lowest temperature for 3 hours.
  4. Place dried carob pieces in a spice grinder or food processor and blitz until smooth.
  5. Sift mixture to get rid of any larger pieces and you should end up with carob powder!
