Wilson & Market’s new Meet the Maker series is in full swing.
The first instalment in the three-part series features Australian winemaker Mac Forbes at the helm. With an extensive history in both European and Australian winemaking, Forbes will share his knowledge of wine characteristics and differences of sites that he works with throughout the Yarra Valley. Guests can expect tastings of new single vineyard releases paired with fine cheese from Yarra Valley Dairy and Stone and Crow Cheese Company.
For the second Meet the Maker event on Saturday September 23, wine lovers will hear about the latest Crittenden Estate wines from Rollo Crittenden and enjoy woodfired Lahmacun – a style of Mediterranean flat breads.
At the third event on Saturday, October 14, guests will celebrate the opening of the Terrace bar and the release of a new Laurent Perrier Cuvee paired with artisan rock oysters – just in time for spring.
