Italian restaurant Tipico, is bringing a taste of its annual passata making experience to Prahran Market on Sunday, 1 March.

“Our Passata Making Masterclasses have been a huge hit each year. We invite everyone to come and check it out,” says Andrea Da Como, Co-owner of Tipico.

These free sessions will run every thirty minutes between 11.30 am and 2.30 pm.

Using fresh ingredients from the Prahran Market, Tipico’s Head Chef, Daniele Colombo will show how to prepare, mince, season and cook tomatoes in a way that would make any Italian Nonna proud.

And there will be bowls of freshly made pasta available to purchase and enjoy. Plus you can even buy bottles of freshly made Italian passata to take home too.
