Free Face Painting
Tuesday, Thursday, SundayLet your children's faces match their colourful imaginations and have them painted!
Little girls love being a little princess or a butterfly and little boys wish they were spiderman or a tiger; so let them be! Children simply need to put their name down on a list and they wil have their face painted in that order. During some busy holiday periods it's best to come early to ensure you don't not miss out.

The Mexican Music Man
Every ThursdayEvery Thursday join the Mexican Music Man, a wonderful interactive children's singer from Mexico. Sing a long or pick up an instrument and join in the fun!
The Mexican Music Man plays a wide range of instruments and has a collection of mini-musical instruments so you and the children can play along with him. Come and sing "We all live in a Yellow Submarine" with the Mexican Music Man- the kids (and you!) will have a ball.

Farmyard Friends
Every TuesdayBring your children or grandchildren along and enjoy the market's activities every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday!
Australian Farmyard Friends enables children to experience farm animals one on one. Come and feed and pat lambs, calves, goats, rabbits, poultry, guinea pigs and other friendly farm creatures, $4.00 per child includes sanitary wipes when you have finished. Children can also have their face painted for free and or play in the playground!

Literature Alive
Saturday 25th May 2013 11am-2pmChildren are the focus during a free event at Prahran Market on Saturday 25 May as part of the Literature Alive festival.
The market’s square will be transformed into a haven of drawing, story-telling and book making as some of Australia’s foremost illustrators and storytellers will be on hand to share the joy of telling and illustrating stories.
Kids will also be able to get crafty themselves and have a go at writing and illustrating their own mini books.
This free event will be held on Saturday May 25 between 11am and 2pm.
