Miss Amelie was founded in Wodonga in 2019. During lockdown it developed a following for its gourmet pies, with fillings that go beyond the ordinary. It has since expanded to locations in Albury and Beechworth, and now to Prahran Market.
The Official Great Aussie Pie Competition named Miss Amelie Chinese BBQ Pork Belly Pie the best gourmet pie in Australia, and between the 2021 and 2022 competitions it was awarded an additional 14 silver and gold medals.
“There are few places in Melbourne more iconic than Prahran Market, and we are so thrilled it will be the home of our first space in Melbourne,” say the Little and the Myers families. “Our business has been built on a foundation of serving our community, and we know at its heart Prahran Market and its stallholders share that same ethos. We can’t wait to share our passion for pies with this amazing city, in this historic location.”
