Ask the Baker! Pull up a spot at the bakery window and watch Q Le Baker’s bakers at work. On Saturday 13 June from 8 to 10am, you’re invited to ask them anything about sourdough making, from fermentation and starters to shaping. Fresh bread samples included.

The Art of Spanish Baking at La Colmena

La Colmena is a Melbourne pastelería born from one Menorcan baker’s nostalgia for home. Cristina makes traditional Spanish pastries by hand — centuries of recipe, right here at the market. This is your opportunity to see some of her most famous techniques and learn about this incredible art.
