What’s on at Say Cheese 2017!

Calling all cheese lovers, foodies and everyone in between!

Say Cheese is back and we’re ready to tempt you with a stack of mouth-watering cheesy offerings from our traders as well as a range of guest exhibitors. From cheese fondue to cheese-inspired ice cream, special cheesy demos and more; we’ve got the goods to make your day brie-lliant. So, what’s in store? Take a look below for just some of the many activations happening on the day.

Hot food options:

48H Pizzeria and Gnoccheria: 48H is back with its classic pizzas, including delicious margherita; hot salami and the ever-popular bufala pizza. Their famous gnocchi will also be doing the rounds. Think gnocchi Pomodoro; Alla bava and Bufala. We’re excited.

Milk the Cow: No stranger to Say Cheese; Milk the Cow is back with its amazing cheese fondue and crusty bread. It’s cheese heaven. Need we say more?

Glacé Frozen: Celebrity dessert chef Christy Tania is set to amaze with an exclusive new cheese-inspired dessert, which is exclusive to Say Cheese! This is one not to miss.

Eat the Chicken: Need a bit of Thai in your life? Eat the Chicken is here to serve up some super tasty authentic Thai food including pad thai; satay crispy chicken ribs; vegetarian spring rolls – and if you can’t choose – get a tasting platter and try them all!

Belleville: Belleville is returning to dish up not one, not two, but a whopping three-cheese truffled mac ‘n’ cheese with dark beer bacon and cheezel crumb. Wow.

Wilson & Market: How does braised short ribs and cauliflower mac ‘n’ cheese sound? We’ll tell you. Delicious. W&M will also delight shoppers with two pop-up bars; Laurent Perrier and Stone & Wood. Champagne or beer – take your pick!

Noisette: Get ready for the biggest croissants you’ve ever seen. The gigantic croissants from Noisette are quite the novelty and are available in both sweet and savoury options.

Cleo’s Deli: Treat yourself to some tempting manchego croquettes or an artisanal cheese platter from our very own Cleo’s Deli.

Atlas Dining: Have you tried knafeh? This decadent Israeli cheesecake delicately wrapped in syrup soaked pastry is sure to be a hit – especially when it’s made by Charlie Carrington.

Doughboys Doughnuts: you might need something a little sweet after all that cheese! What better than one (or two) of Doughboys delicious doughnuts to conclude your feast.

The Mussel Pot: Get fancy with champagne mussels or mussels with blue cheese

Gary’s Quality Meats: Sink your teeth into a cheese kransky with sauekraut on a tasty milk bun

Naheda’s Choice: A variety of cheeses will be available from Naheda’s Choice with a special of 2 cheeses for $10!

Whisked: Whisked will have a range of delicious local honeys to choose from – all with perfect cheese parings provided by Maker & Monger.

Pete n Rosie’s Deli: Gourmet selection of local and international cheeses and accompaniments

Fresh Pasta Shop: Mixed cheese ravioli (take home)

The Cheese Shop Deli: More cheese than the eye can see! These guys have you covered.

Chaso’s Gourmet Deli: Pick up a cheeseboard and stick around for some free tastes.

Paddlewheel: If organic is more your style, pop into Paddlewheel to pick up one of their decadent soft cheeses

Omega by Neil Perry Kitchen Demos:

Back-to-back demos will run all day in the Omega by Neil Perry kitchen. Brand ambassador and chef Tobie Puttock will MC alongside guest demonstrators including chef Christy Tania from Glace Frozen with her decadent artisanal ice creams; Thea Royale from Shaw River Buffalo; Charlie Carrington from Atlas Dining andour own cheesemonger Anthony Femia from Maker & Monger.

Chill-out spaces and Bars:

You may need to take a seat after all that food! Chill out in our styled mezzanine above the Market Square where you can find a pop-up bar – and you guessed it – more cheese plates!

The Prosecco Queen’s caravan will set up shop in Harvest Hall opposite Flawless Flowers, providing refreshments including cocktails, wines and beers. Sip on an Aperol Spritz and watch the world go by.
