Easter catering on your mind? Whether it’s for one, two or a fair few, we chatted to some of our Market Traders and found out when all your feasting orders need to be in by, from traditional specialties to larger spreads. Psst: Don’t worry, you’ve still got time!

Stir the Pot

If a menu that covers all dietary needs is what you’re after then head to our newest Trader, Stir the Pot. Wendy and the team need just 2 days notice for finger food orders and will be baking up some delicious Easter biscuits over the next week. Make sure you also check out their great line of healthy take-home meals the next time you’re in.

Gary’s Quality Meats

Carnivore friends after a cut of lamb for their Sunday roast should have a chat to Gary or Ash from Gary’s Meats. The cut-off date for most orders will be next Tuesday 16th however, if you’re after a cut that’s rare or unusual we’d suggest contacting them sooner, just to be safe.

Good Friday for many means seafood feasting, and if a prawn party is what you’re throwing then you’ll want to place an order with Periwinkle‘s by next Tuesday 16th.

Cleo’s Deli

Deli delights are always a winner at any Easter function and there’s no going past the window at Cleo’s Deli. Whether it’s a mix of antipasto, freshly-made quiches or arancini, leave your list with Eva by Tuesday 16th to pick it all up in time for the weekend.

Q Le Baker

What’s Easter without a few Hot Cross Buns, right? Quentin and the team have been busy baking up Q Le Baker‘s delicious lemon myrtle and ginger beer buns with sun-dried, organic fruit. They’re also doing a version with dark chocolate chunks and organic cocoa powder for our sweet-toothed friends. Get your HXB orders in by Monday 15th if you’re after a few bags, or pop by the shop for a treat on your Market stroll – they’ll be baking these buns daily until sold out.

Chaso’s Gourmet Deli

If you’re really pressed for time and looking to buy in bulk, we’d recommend contacting Louis from Chaso’s Deli, who can help with your last minute Easter feasting needs. After something for a smaller group? The cut-off date for all antipasto platters is this weekend, so be sure to get your order in quick!

To get your Sweet Greek spread before Catholic Easter, you’ll want to place an order with Kathy by next Tuesday 16th. All Orthodox Easter catering requests will need to be in by the following Tuesday 23rd, however, red egg orders must also be placed by next Tuesday 16th.
