Jackie Middleton
Food stylist, writer, cooking demonstrator and menu consultant
A self-confessed food nerd; Jackie works with food on all levels; styling, writing, consulting and cooking. With a long history in the restaurant industry from large five star hotels to boutique dining rooms, Jackie has taken the best of it to forge a career as a freelance food stylist and menu designer. Jackie now brings "a home cooks perspective - with a savvy edge" to the Prahran Market cooking demonstrations. With a passion for whole foods, cooked seasonally and served with health focused awareness, Jackie takes the best of tradition and melds it with new food trends.
Talking with people about food is a serendipitous pastime so Jackie is excited to be sharing recipes and food tips at Prahran Market.
Victoria Smith
Lover and appraiser of all things food and wine
With an unfaltering enthusiasm for the ingredients and preparation of creating her next meal, there is no question or doubt of the passion that goes into this "foodies" day.
With over 10 years experience within the hospitality, catering & events industry, Victoria's excitement and interest for food has always been a key driver which began in her early career days in Lorne, and certainly remains a steadfast attribute today. In 2009, Victoria launched her Melbourne based business "Eloise Smith" bringing her commitment for wholesome food to your table through "Thursday Nite Dinners".
Victoria is delighted to be part of the Prahran Market cooking demonstration team; which is another way to share her wealth of knowledge about food trends, seasonality, cooking styles and delicious experiences - with the fresh food and produce available at Prahran Market.
